The sacred ‘Suryaprabha Vahana Seva’, one of the most radiant among the Vahana Sevas, was observed on the seventh day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala. On this occasion, Sri Malayappa, adorned in the divine Badrinarayana Alankaram, blessed the devotees.

The ‘Suryaprabha Vahana Seva’ holds a special place in the Brahmotsavams, as it is dedicated to Lord Surya, revered as the bestower of health, vitality, and energy. Scriptures describe Surya as the dispeller of ailments and a source of life-giving power. True to this belief, the ritual is performed to invoke well-being and strength for all devotees.

The procession, led through the four 'Mada' streets of Tirumala, was accompanied by temple officials, traditional music troupes, and enthusiastic devotees, who offered prayers and experienced the divine splendour of the event. Many believe that participating in this seva ensures good health and renewed energy.

TTD chairman B R Naidu, EO A K Singhal, board members and other dignitaries were present.
