Former Chief Justice of Nepal, Sushila Karki became Nepal's current interim prime minister. She was sworn in onFriday evening, as the country's first female leader, following the resignation of Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli amid violent anti-corruption protests led by Gen Z activists. Karki, a former chief justice known for her integrity, was selected to address the political vacuum, with two other ministers also appointed.
Metro India earlier reported that Sushila Karki is going to be the interim PM as her name was proposed by the agitating Gen Z.
