Telangana to host Raksha Expo 2026 at Bharat Future City: CS

The Telangana government will organise Raksha Expo 2026 as a major component of the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, scheduled from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City, Hyderabad, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju said.

Addressing News18 DEFCON 2026 in New Delhi on Thursday, the Chief Secretary invited global aerospace and defence companies, Indian manufacturers, MSMEs, startups and technology developers to participate in the Expo and explore opportunities in Telangana.

The Expo will have a strong business focus, with curated business-to-business meetings and direct interactions among global original equipment manufacturers, Indian companies, MSMEs, startups and sourcing teams. These engagements will support vendor development, technology partnerships and the integration of Indian suppliers into domestic and international supply chains.

The Chief Secretary invited global companies to send their senior leadership, procurement heads and sourcing teams to the Summit. He urged participants to book exhibition space, showcase their capabilities, participate in the B2B sessions and use the Summit to advance investment proposals, sourcing partnerships and MoUs.

During his address, the Chief Secretary also highlighted Telangana's 103 per cent growth in aerospace and defence exports during 2025-26 and the strength of its ecosystem of strategic research institutions, defence public sector undertakings and nearly 1,500 to 2,000 precision-engineering MSMEs. He said the State was expanding its capabilities in drones and counter-drone systems, avionics, advanced materials, propulsion, space technologies and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul.
