TTD invites proposals for Swarnandhra Vision-2047

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD)  has launched "Tirumala Vision - 2047" with a strategic plan focusing on planned development, environmental management and heritage conservation in Tirumala in line with "Swarnandhra Vision - 2047". To take this goal forward, it has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting renowned agencies.

At a recent meeting held in Tirumala, the TTD board resolved to focus on planned development, environmental management, and heritage conservation.

AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has stressed the need to balance tradition with modernity in the development of Tirumala. He called for improving facilities and accommodation for devotees with foresight, respecting the spirituality, sanctity and cultural heritage of Tirumala.

Implementing sustainable strategies to enhance the sanctity of Tirumala by following modern urban planning norms. Prioritizing good planning, heritage conservation, and environmental responsibility. TTD strives to make Tirumala a role model worldwide.

Invitation for proposals from consultants

To achieve the objectives of Tirumala Vision 2047, TTD is inviting proposals from agencies with expertise in urban planning, architecture, engineering, heritage conservation and environmental management. Special focus has already been given to the Tirumala town planning.

The main responsibilities of the consultants involve preparing long-term plans for the development of Tirumala, Revising the Zonal Development Plan keeping in mind current and future needs, Formulating future strategies to improve the facilities for devotees while preserving the sanctity of Tirumala, preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and   action plans on critical infrastructure.

Interested agencies have been asked to submit their proposals within three weeks. Agencies must have prior experience in such large-scale urban planning and infrastructure projects.

The plan aims to create a comprehensive future plan that combines heritage conservation, environmental management, and modern urban planning. The plan aims to further preserve the spiritual and cultural sanctity of Tirumala for generations to come.
