Minister for Labour and Mines Dr. Vivek Venkataswamy  stated that the Telangana government is creating valuable opportunities for women through the Indra Mahila Shakti initiative.

As the guest of honour at the "CII Indian Women Uplift – Voice for Change" event held at Tech Mahindra in Hi-Tech City on Friday, the Minister urged women to take an active role in the business sector to support the nation's GDP growth.

He highlighted that women possess exceptional multitasking abilities and resilience, and as part of the state's efforts, they are being encouraged to become entrepreneurs.

Additionally, Vivek Venkataswamy emphasised the importance of society's role in ensuring that every woman within a family is given opportunities. The Minister pointed out that rural women have significant potential, and if nurtured, they could contribute significantly to the country’s development. He encouraged young people to consider starting a business with small investments and to view it as a challenge.
