Tourism and Culture Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao announced that, following the directives of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, a special action plan has been prepared for the development of tourist destinations across Telangana. As part of this initiative, a high-level tourism conclave will soon be organized in the state to promote investment, innovation, and strategic collaboration in the tourism sector.
The Minister made these remarks while participating in the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) 2025 held at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that tourism is not just a form of entertainment but a key contributor to employment generation, investment opportunities, and infrastructure development.
Highlighting the new tourism policy introduced by the Telangana government, Minister Jupalli stated that it aims to create a favorable environment for investment, encouraging young entrepreneurs to bring forward innovative ideas and projects. "We are fully ready to support those who wish to invest in Telangana's tourism sector," he affirmed.
He further said that the upcoming tourism conclave would serve as a unique platform for discussions on investment plans and strategic partnerships, drawing stakeholders from across the country.
Minister Jupalli pointed out that while Telangana has the natural and cultural resources to build world-class tourism infrastructure, the lack of adequate promotion remains a significant challenge. He urged exhibitors and representatives from the tourism, travel, and hospitality sectors to become partners in showcasing Telangana and act as brand ambassadors for the state.
