Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has declared law and order his top priority, calling it the foundation for jobs, investment, and growth in Andhra Pradesh. In a review with district SPs, he warned: “Crimes under the guise of politics won’t be tolerated. Ensure safety, justice, and investor confidence.”

Citing high-profile cases like Viveka’s murder and Singayya’s death, he urged officers to prevent political conspiracies from distorting justice. He recalled cracking down on factionism, rowdyism, and Naxals in his earlier tenure, attributing Hyderabad’s success to firm policing.

Naidu emphasized modern policing using technology, social media vigilance, and swift action under the "React, Reach, Respond, Result" model. He warned against opposition-led unrest and stressed the need for officers to act “without fear or favor.”

“Prove yourselves,” he told police, “Law and order is the backbone of development. Without it, there is no welfare or growth.”
