In a bid to promote road safety and prevent accidents, Madapur Police Station conducted the “Arrive Alive” awareness program on Wednesday as part of its ongoing road safety initiatives.

Madapur ACP Sridhar, the chief guest at the event, urged citizens to strictly follow traffic rules while travelling on roads. He emphasized that preventing accidents is a shared responsibility and that every commuter must adhere to traffic regulations. “Many families suffer due to road accidents, and it is imperative for each individual to ensure safe travel,” he said, appealing to everyone to reach home safely.

During his address, ACP Sridhar highlighted common causes of accidents, including using mobile phones while driving, drunk driving, wrong-side driving, signal violations, and not wearing helmets. He also warned that even wearing a helmet improperly, such as not fastening the strap, can lead to serious injuries during accidents.

The program saw participation from Madapur Inspector Krishna Mohan, Detective Inspector Vijay Nayak, and other traffic officials, who engaged with the public to reinforce safe driving habits. Participants were advised to maintain strict vigilance while on the road and ensure compliance with all traffic laws.

The initiative forms part of Madapur Police’s continuous effort to reduce road accidents and spread awareness about responsible driving. Officials stressed that community cooperation is essential for creating safer roads in the city.
