Congress MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy has made sensational remarks. In a casual interaction with the media on Tuesday, he indicated that it would not be surprising if Kavitha were to join the Congress party. Having resigned from her MLC position which she held through the BRS party, the Telangana Jagruthi President is now fully focused on her future political career. This has led to widespread discussion about the political decisions Kavitha might take. The Congress MLA  recalled that nobody expected Danam Nagender or Kadiyam Srihari to join the Congress party but they did. "Therefore, it would not astonish anyone if Kavitha were also to join the Congress party. " he remarked. These comments by Malreddy Rangareddy are generating political interest, especially at a time when there is speculation that Kavitha is about to launch her own party.

Malreddy Rangareddy, who is aspiring for a ministerial position, also commented on this issue. He said that if he is not given a ministerial post, it would be a loss for the Congress party. The MLA said he would not suffer any loss if his request is denied, and that the party leaders should consider this matter. Malreddy Ranga Reddy stated that a district with two crore people has not been given a ministerial position so far. Regarding the renaming of Rangareddy district, he said it was mere speculation and that while any number of municipalities can be created within Rangareddy district, the district's overall structure should not be changed.

"A real estate boom has occurred in the area surrounding the proposed Future City. The land rates are increasing. Therefore, no one is selling their land," the Congress MLA said. "BRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao had defeated me in the past because I fought against the Pharma City project. If the Pharma City had come up, it would have caused pollution over an area of 50 kilometers," he pointed out.
