  3. Over 45,000 documents registered in pilot phases, with 94% citizen satisfaction reported.
  4. Additional staff deployed in 9 high-traffic offices to handle increased workload.
  5. Aadhaar-based e-signature feature piloted, with full rollout planned soon.

Coinciding with the State Formation Day celebrations, the Telangana Government will implement slot booking for property registrations and launch an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot ‘Medha’ across all 144 Sub-Registrar Offices from June 2, announced Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, the Telangana Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations.

This expansion follows the successful two-phase pilot across 47 Sub-Registrar Offices where 45,191 documents were registered—30,592 in 22 offices from April 10 and 14,099 in 25 offices from May 12. The initiative has not only streamlined services but also led to 3,000 additional registrations, indicating increased efficiency and public trust.

The Minister shared that 94% of citizens expressed satisfaction with the slot booking system, which ensures transparency and saves time.

To further assist the public, the government has launched an AI-based WhatsApp chatbot named ‘Medha’ at 82476 23578. The chatbot offers real-time help with slot availability, office locations, documentation charges, market values, and more. A Developer Registration Module is also being developed to prevent double registrations and bring greater accountability in layouts, with registered plots marked in red for easy identification.

In high-demand areas such as Patancheru, Yadagirigutta, Gandipet, Ibrahimpatnam, Suryapet, Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, and Gadwal, additional Sub-Registrars and staff have been deployed to handle the increased workload. Each Sub-Registrar Office will offer 48 booking slots daily, available from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding lunch. Additionally, 5 emergency walk-in registrations will be permitted from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

The Minister also revealed that Aadhaar-based e-signatures are being piloted at Armoor and Kusumanchi and will be scaled up across the state soon. The government is committed to delivering citizen-centric reforms with the help of technology and proactive governance.
