The IIMC College hosted a two-day international conference on January 19 and 20 at the Challa Som Raj Ram Sabha Premises on the theme "Navigating Complexities in Education, Research, and Technology Towards Viksit Bharat 2047." The first day was conducted in person, and the second day via online mode.
Following that, the Chairperson and College Chairman, Vangapalli Vishwanatham, spoke about how IIMC conducts conferences every year on fresh topics. Conference organizer and Commerce Department Assistant Professor Samudrala Shravani outlined the objectives and goals of the conference.
Chief guest Prof. Patrick, Chairman of the Osmania University Commerce Department Syllabus Committee, praised IIMC College for always taking the lead in organizing conferences, workshops on project work, Commerce talent tests, and more in commerce subjects.
Prof. Chetan Sri Vatsav from the School of Management Studies at Hyderabad Central University explained that integrating technology with a value-based education system in this global family would make achieving Viksit Bharat easier.A souvenir compilation containing 75 abstracts with ISBN was then released by the Chief Guest.
On the second day, conducted online, Dr. Ram Kumar, Vice President of Digital Transformation and solutions GEA North America spoke about how combining human skills with artificial intelligence would achieve sustainable development and Viksit Bharat goals.Over these two days, 126 researchers from various departments presented 47 research papers.
In the valedictory session, college principal Kura Raghu Veer stated that the conference had helped achieve some goals toward Viksit Bharat. Judges selected the best research papers from various departments. Faculty, researchers, and students from other colleges also attended in large numbers, making the conference a success.
