Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) has expanded its flagship hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, marking a key milestone in its growth. The upgraded facility now offers 150 beds, 4 advanced Operating Rooms, 34 dialysis beds, and cutting-edge robotic technology for complex Urology and Nephrology surgeries. With a capital expenditure of Rs 150 crore planned for the year, AINU is focused on accelerating its expansion and enhancing clinical capabilities.

India faces a growing burden of urological disorders, driven by rising rates of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, obesity, and hypertension, along with an aging population. Conditions like benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) affect over 50% of Indian men above 60, while prostate cancer, now the second most common cancer in Indian men, is growing at 2.5% annually.

Vishal Bali, Executive Chairman of Asia Healthcare Holdings, emphasized the need for specialized care: “The rising incidence of Urology and Nephrology issues in India demands a focused approach. AINU is building the country’s leading single-specialty hospital network, powered by expert clinicians and advanced technology.”
