Babu delighted as Vizag earns spotlight in Wall Street Journal

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday expressed happiness over Visakhapatnam earning international recognition after its mention in the globally renowned business publication, The Wall Street Journal.

The Chief Minister said the feature highlights Visakhapatnam’s growing stature as a global hub for technology and investment. Referring to the Wall Street Journal article that mentioned Google’s massive $15 billion investment to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Hub in the city, Naidu said it reflects Andhra Pradesh’s emergence as a prime destination for next-generation technology ventures.

Taking to social media, the Chief Minister wrote, “It’s a moment of great pride to see Visakhapatnam’s name and Google’s Data Hub mentioned in The Wall Street Journal. The city is fast making its mark on the world map as a major center for technology investments. Nothing makes me happier!”

He further noted that despite being a relatively young state formed after bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh has positioned itself as a frontrunner in attracting global investments. Sharing a clipping of the Wall Street Journal article, Naidu used the hashtags #YoungestStateHighestInvestment and #GoogleComesToAP to underscore the state’s growing appeal among international investors.
