On the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, a peaceful procession was held by the Muslim community in Hyderabad on Sunday. The event took place in the historic Charminar area, with elaborate security arrangements put in place by the Hyderabad City Police to ensure smooth conduct.

The security measures were personally overseen by C V Anand, Director General and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. As the procession reached Charminar, Anand felicitated prominent Muslim religious leaders, including Hafeez Muzaffar and Syed Pasha, by presenting them with garlands and extending heartfelt Milad-un-Nabi greetings.

He expressed his gratitude to the community leaders for their cooperation and praised the peaceful nature of the event, describing it as a reflection of Hyderabad’s unique Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb—a symbol of communal harmony and shared cultural heritage.
