Tourism, cultural affairs and cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh, who reached Kurnool from Anantapur on Wednesday, inspected the Orvakallu Rock Garden in the form of a surprise visit as there was time for the flight from there to Vijayawada. The famous Rock Garden in Orvakallu is known for its natural beauty. On this occasion, Minister Durgesh said that Rock forests, ponds and rocks of various shapes formed millions of years ago are attracting still tourists in large numbers.

Minister Durgesh stated that films like Baahubali, Daaku Maharaj and others have been shot locally and more will be shot at Rock Garden in the coming days and added that the Orvakallu Rock Garden will be further developed to attract tourists from all over the world. He also mentioned that a tourism circuit is being developed connecting Srisailam, Ahobilam, Belum Caves, Yaganti and other places. Praising the  “Haritha Resorts” tourism facilities in Orvakallu, Minister Durgesh said that natural structures reflect the beauty and heritage of the place.
