‘SCAMSECURE1’ website gets govt certification
Hyderabad: Arjun Ram, a 16-year-old tech innovator, has achieved a significant milestone as his website, ‘SCAMSECURE1’, receives official certification and approval from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
‘SCAMSECURE1’ is a platform developed to educate the public about online scams, enables users to report fraudulent activities, and offers tools to verify the legitimacy of online businesses and digital communications. With the rising threat of cyber fraud, the platform aims to empower users with knowledge and preventive resources.
Speaking on the occasion, Arjun shared, ‘As a 16-year-old, I became increasingly concerned about the surge in online scams affecting people of all ages. This inspired me to create ‘SCAMSECURE1’—a platform dedicated to raising awareness, reporting scams, and offering verification tools for safer digital interactions.’
After undergoing a rigorous evaluation, the platform has now been officially certified by the government, validating its reliability and public utility. With this approval, Arjun is set to launch ‘SCAMSECURE1’ for public use, marking a major step forward in the fight against online fraud.
Arjun expressed deep gratitude to the government for recognizing and supporting his innovation, calling the certification a major encouragement for young innovators like him.
