The Telangana assembly on Tuesday passed two bills amidst the din. Both BRS and BJP MLAs took to protest after the house resumed proceedings post the break. Holding placards members from opposition benches tried to enter into the well but marshals formed a wall preventing them from proceeding further. Seeking discussion on the privilege motion and the Lagacharla handcuff incident, BRS members took to sloganeering. Despite Speaker's appeals to step back so that they would be given mike, the BRS MLAs did not budge. As this was happening, on behalf of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Minister Konda Surekha moved the Young India Physical Education and Sports University Bill, Minister Damodar Raj Narasimha moved the Telangana Universities (Amendment) Bill and Minister D Sridhar Babu moved the Telangana Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill.

Barring Whip Aadi Srinivas no other member gave their views on the bills. The BRS and BJP members continued with their protest and amidst the din the three bills were passed.
