The 3rd AHPI Leadership Summit, a national conference on ‘Leadership in the Age of High-Tech Healthcare,’ concluded on Saturday in Hyderabad. The two-day event gathered key leaders from healthcare, policy, and industry to discuss people-centric leadership, financial sustainability, and strategic planning.
Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, speaking at the valedictory session, highlighted the need for compassionate leadership in healthcare. ‘Healthcare must always be a service, rooted in empathy, integrity, and trust,’ he said.
A proud moment marked the summit when Varun Khanna, Group Managing Director of Quality Care India Limited (QCIL), received the prestigious ‘Visionary Healthcare CEO’ award. Nominated by over 20 AHPI State Presidents, Khanna was recognized for his outstanding leadership in driving patient-centric innovations, and investment in talent, technology, and infrastructure. His vision continues to shape a more inclusive and future-ready healthcare system in India.
