Hyderabad District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan conducted a thorough inspection of the main Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) godown at Chudi Bazaar on Wednesday, following Election Commission of India guidelines.

During the inspection, the DEO reviewed storage conditions, stock registers, and the overall maintenance of materials inside the godown. The functioning of CCTV cameras and other security arrangements were also closely examined to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.

Officials were instructed to maintain the highest standards of security and operational readiness at the facility, as mandated by the Election Commission. The DEO emphasized strict implementation of all guidelines to ensure the integrity and safety of the EVMs ahead of the upcoming elections. This move is part of ongoing preparations to ensure secure and transparent voting in Hyderabad.
