The Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task force, West Zone, Hyderabad, on credible information, arrested a bookie and five agents and a punter for indulging in organizing online betting platforms such as SKYEXCH, RADHE EXCHANGE, 99 RACES, 365 RACES, Placebet999 etc.

The bookie registered with online betting websites and provided username and password to the punters by the agents to play online betting, after receiving amounts through online transactions and operating an illegal online betting racket in Hyderabad.

Arrested persons identified as Girish Agarwal (39), a bookie, S Maninder Pal Singh (36), an agent, Pawan Kumar Sharma (35), a bookie, Kishan Sharma (24), an agent, Mohith Agarwal (27), an agent, Rahul Agarwal (32), an agent and Suresh Soni (33), a punter.

Police seized Rs 25,000 cash, 55 Mobile phones, 3 laptops, 60 debit cards and three scanners from arrested persons.
